Adega A Coroa, in partnership with Renfe, Turgalicia and Inorde, proposes you to know the Ribeira Sacra and the Valdeorras territories in a very affordable manner
As it should be, the commitment of the A Coroa Winery to Galicia is reinforced again through this initiative that, for two consecutive years, aims to facilitate the access to those interested to know a magical Galicia through a unique proposal: “Valdeorras and Ribeira Sacra Wines Train”.
Just for 40 euros and starting from the railway station of Ourense, this initiative invites you to visit the Sil River and its canyons, on board a catamaran that will also take you to the surroundings of the Monastery of Santo Estevo. Then, continue the route visiting and tasting the excellent wines of our winery A Coroa. In the afternoon, be delighted by one of the highest expressions of the Galician Baroque at the Sanctuary of As Ermidas, located in a place of a great natural beauty, in the narrow and fascinating valley formed by the River Bibei. To conclude, do not miss to discover a historic railway station, the Os Peares, where you will have the chance to visit the railway museum.
In addition, You will get to know the history of railways in Galicia and you will relive the efforts of thousands of men who made one of the most complex works of Spanish engineering.
This initiative, that starts next weekend, will continue throughout the four months of summer – more specifically on Saturdays: June 18, July 2, July 16, July 30, August 13, August 27, September 10, September 24 -. It will also be oriented by expert guides, who will be pleased to explain you some of the peculiarities of each site of this magic land, our land.
