Two new medals for the Godellos A Coroa at the International Wine Challenge
After receiving the Gold medal at the Tasting Committee of the Lyon World Wine Competition, the International Wine Challenge, one of the most prestigious international wine competitions, awards our wine 100% A Coroa with a bronze medal.
For its part, our wine 2016 A Coroa 200 Cestos, awarded with great prizes throughout the year 2017, has consolidated its high quality achieving a remarkable silver medal in this contest held in the United Kingdom and considered an event of great reference at the international level. Our A Coroa 200 Cestos was the best Godello variety wine evaluated in the competition with 93 points.
The International Wine Challenge (IWC) owned by William Reed Business Media is now in its 34th year. The IWC is accepted as the world’s finest and most meticulously judged wine competition which assesses every wine blind and judges each for its faithfulness to style, region and vintage. Throughout the rigorous judging processes, each medal-winning wine is tasted on three separate occasions by at least 10 different judges.
From A Coroa we want to show our firm conviction of participating in international contests of abundant competition and great exigency, where the criterion and the autonomy of the critics are beyond doubt. In addition, the fact of competing with much selected wines is a fundamental factor for us when establishing new guidelines to improve, and thus, offer our customers the best of our work.
