The 2016 harvest of Godello A Coroa is ready to be launched to the market

An increment in the sales of the 2015 harvest, considered the greatest one of the history of the winery, has moved forward the launching of the 2016 vintage of Godello A Coroa.

Winery A Coroa continues to grow thanks to the confidence of many consumers who, increasingly from different places around the world, are betting on the naturalness of the controlled production, elaborated in vineyards owned by the winery in the region of Valdeorras. Thus, the strong increment in sales has led to move forward the launching the 100% Godello A Coroa 2016, from which great recognitions are expected.

The bottling process began last week, and it is estimated to last one month approximately. In the middle of March, the wine will reach the optimum condition for its commercialization.

Looking at the 2015 sales success, the homogeneity of the increase has practically prevailed throughout the market, with a 20% of total growth, the major of the history of the winery.

Yet, a special emphasis should be placed on the national public, much more assiduous selecting wines of the A Coroa assortment. Thus, in addition to big cities, the exceptional network of distributors of the winery is positioning the wines in many places of the country, always with the firm desire to be present in all glasses of those who want to share one A Coroa.

It is not inconsiderable, either, the external growth of the demand. The presence in markets already known has been reinforced, such as the North American, English, German, Belgian and Japanese, and others have been added like the Danish, Canadian and Panamanian.

Regarding the 2016 harvest, and as usual in the work philosophy of A Corona, we expect an excellent production with quantities of Godello very similar to previous years. And this is due to two basic factors: a controlled production – unique in the region of Valdeorras- and an integrated production. Both processes are the foundation of the firm commitment to a modern production model, characterized to be sustainable and environmentally friendly, granted by the quality seal of Galicia Calidade.

The range 2016 Godello A Coroa, the first one out of the four of the winery to be marketed, is presented as a wine that expresses the greatness of the Godello. Unctuous, fresh, fruity and long in mouth. A wine that in previous vintages has shown its excellent growth capacity in the bottle, with a great minerality.

The wines A Coroa are present in the best tables of more than 20 countries of 4 different continents. The philosophy of the winery is based on the fact that the quality of a great wine is made in the vineyard. Therefore, and faithful to this idea, all our grapes are solely from our vineyards of controlled production, where attention is given to the smallest detail in the care of the vines and the fruit, as well as the greatest respect for the environment.
