La Gui\u0301a Pen\u0303i\u0301n is Spain\u2019s most famous and comprehensive wine guide. It is compiled by Jose\u0301 Pen\u0303i\u0301n, whose impressive knowledge of international and Spanish wines has been gathered over more than 25 years as a professional wine writer and journalist.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 1980 Pen\u0303i\u0301n created Bouquet \u2013 Spain\u2019s first magazine dedicated to wine and the wine industry, and now con- tinues his writings through freelancing work for such prestigious publications as El Pai\u0301s and Tiempo.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Wines<\/span><\/h4>\n

A Coroa Godello 2018<\/strong> has green tones that reflect over a straw yellow, intense, clean and bright. Aromas of white stone fruits, fresh and ripe, coexist with herbaceous notes, citrus aromas and a spicy background.<\/span><\/p>\n

Enveloping and long-tasting. Balanced acidity. It emphasizes a soft and subtle minerality.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 2018 vintage began with a dry autumn and some major frosts in winter. Spring, though, brought abundant rainfall. The vines appreciated the rains, especially after a tough 2017, and the grapes could be optimally nourished. Therefore, we can expect a more balanced wine, more aromatic and longer than other vintages.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Coroa Li\u0301as<\/strong> is elaborated with selected grapes from one of our most characteristic plot \u201c A Sobreira\u201d, located on a gentle slope at an altitude between 350 and 450 meters, highlights the diversity of its slate, sandy and clay soil, giving to the wine a great complexity of nuances that make up its personality and balance.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the fermentation, A Coroa Li\u0301as rests on its lees for 5 months performing regularly the practice \u201cBatonnage\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

A complex body wine that surprises from the outset and remains in the memory.<\/span><\/p>\n

Adega A Coroa is committed to Valdeorras land and to the vines to offer the best wines. This has led to the creation of 200 Cestos<\/strong>, a very special wine since it is a 100% Godello coming from a plot with special features, with vines over 75 years old planted in terraces.<\/span><\/p>\n

The plot, for its location, orientation and height, obtained from the variety highlighting its potential godello elegance, complexity and power traditional aroma of this variety and looking for a rich wine with greater intensity of color, freshness and fruit background.<\/span><\/p>\n
