Great reception of the A Coroa wine by the professional sector of Madrid<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

On September 23, in the tasting room of the Madrid Association of Sommeliers, AMS, a vertical tasting was held in which all the ranges of A Coroa wines were exposed. The event, obviously directed towards the Madrid Association of Sommeliers, the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid and a representation of purchasing managers in the catering sector, was presented by Cefe Fernandez, Commercial Director of A Coroa, and Angel Sanchez Cuesta, winemaker and great druid of the winery.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a relaxed event, in which a representation of the winery was pleasantly received and even feted, a tasting of different vintages of wine that complete the A Coroa range was held.\u00a0 There, experts valued the development of the wine over the time and, above all, confirmed the the great evolution in the bottle of the godello variety.<\/span><\/p>\n

For this purpose, the following vintages were put on the table :<\/span><\/p>\n

A Coroa 100% Godello<\/span><\/strong>: 2006, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015<\/span><\/p>\n

A Coroa Godello L\u00edas<\/span><\/strong>: 2013, 2014 and 2015<\/span><\/p>\n

A Coroa 200 Cestos<\/span><\/strong>: 2014 and 2015<\/span><\/p>\n

A Coroa Laderia Vella – Grenache old vines –<\/span><\/strong>: 2012, 2013<\/span><\/p>\n

The valuations, almost unanimous, were summarized in the typicality as a differential trait of the wines, result of working with vineyards in different soil types, as well as the noble aging of all varieties exposed, keeping a remarkable balance between alcohol and acidity, even in the 2006 vintage, selected for this purpose of evaluation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The A Coroa winery exports about 60% of its production and our wines have an international presence in over 20 countries on 4 continents.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our philosophy is the commitment to quality of our products, as confirmed by the seal of Galician Quality and Controlled Production. Moreover, we are the only winery worldwide that produces Godello that is governed by the controlled production of its vineyards.<\/span><\/p>\n

This philosophy is based on the fact that the quality of a great wine is made in the vineyard; therefore, and faithful to this culture of work, all the grapes come solely from our vineyards of controlled production, in which we have a special care of the vines and the fruit, always with respect for the environment as it is guaranteed by our seal of integrated production.<\/span><\/p>\n
